The requirements to apply for the Absa Student Credit Card are:
- Be between 18 to 30 years old
- Minimum monthly income of R800 or subsidy in this amount
- You must be a registered full-time student at a FET college, SAQA-approved institution, university, university of technology, or private institution
You must submit the following documents at the time of application:
- Valid South African ID card or smart card
- Proof of address
- Proof of income for the last three months of the holder or subsidiary
- Student bond proof

Absa will analyze your request and within 3 business days, you will receive a response. If accepted by the bank, your card will be generated and linked to your Absa account and will arrive at your home in a few days.
