The minimum eligibility requirements are:
- Have the age 18 years old or more
- Be a resident/citizen of South Africa
- Have a good credit history
- Have monthly income
The documents required for the application are:
- Official identification document
- Updated proof of residency
- An employment contract or paychecks proving the legality of the income
The Money credit card requires these basic documents for application, but other documents may be requested.
How to apply for Money credit card?
Despite being a product launched by Standard Bank, the Money credit card is not linked to a bank account as it is offered in partnership with Game, Makro, and Builders stores.
This way, it can only be requested on the Money credit card page available on the internet (which you will find at the end of this article) or at partner stores.
If you meet the requirements, gather your documentation and go to the card page to fill out the card application form.
If you get accepted your Money credit card will arrive at the address chosen by you!
What fees apply to the Money credit card?
- Up to 55 days without interest for purchases in installments
- Card initiation fee of R 100.88
- Monthly fee of R 56.49
- Fees are charged for querying balances at ATMs and withdrawals, both domestically and internationally
